Peter Lazarov (1958) was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and graduated printmaking techniques in the class of Ivan Marinov at the University of Veliko Tarnovo (1980). His preferred choices of medium are wood engraving and woodcut. He is an exhibited artist, active in the field of art prints, illustrations for fine press books (limited editions) and ex libris. Former member of the British Society of wood engravers (1997-2017) and of the Union of Bulgarian artists (since 1988).
2002: established his own PEPELpress - Fine press limited edition handmade art books.
From 2011 through 2019 he is teaching Wood engraving, Woodcut and Handmade Artists books at ScFAI, Chongqing, China
