Alexander Dimitrov was born on 24 June 1969 in the town of Plovdiv. He graduated from the National Art Academy "Nikolay Pavlovich" in 1995 in the class of acad. Svetlin Rusev. He has had over 25 solo exhibitions in Japan, Austria, Germany and Bulgaria, as well as participation in international forums in Belgrade, Frankfurt, Kanagawa and Istanbul. Alexander won Prize of "HARADA” GALLERY, Tokyo, Japan - "Ecological point" in 1995. He is an Artist of the Year of Gallery "BREEZE" - Burgas in 2007 and the Prize “Artist of the century of Largo Art Gallery” in 2018. His works are owned by private collectors in Bulgaria, USA, France, Germany, Japan, Russia and others. Alexander Dimitrov is a creator and founder of "White Zone" Gallery and "White Zone" Studio, where he was a curator of 26 exhibitions featuring both established and very young artists. Alexander has had three solo exhibitions at Largo Art Gallery (2013, 2015 and 2019). Lives and works in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
