Boyan Yanev

Boyan Yanev was born on 18.04.1963 in Varna. In 1991 he graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia, majoring in" Illustration" with Prof. Rumen Skorchev.  He has over 20 solo exhibitions in Germany, Austria and Vienna, USA- Florida, Tallahassee, Sofia, Varna and Bourgas. He is an author of the artistic image of the Music Festival "Varna Summer 1994". Boyan has won the Award for young artist in the International Biennial of Graphics - Varna in 2001. Boyan is the author of the graphic symbol "Bulgaria - tourist country" as an artist at the advertising agency "FIL" (1995 ). Since 1995 he is a lecturer at National Art School "Dobri Hristov" - Varna.  Yanev is an author of illustrations of more than 20 books of Bulgarian and foreign authors. He is a participant in numerous workshops in Bulgaria and abroad. Lives and works in Varna, Bulgaria.
