Tsanko Tsankov was born in 1962 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1988 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts “N. Pavlovich” with a degree in Scenography. His rich creative biography includes over 40 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, over 30 participations in prestigious international art salons such as Art Salon - Buenos Aires (1988), Biennial of Graphics - Varna (1991, 1993), Triennial of Graphics - Tokyo (1995), Salon of Arts - London (2001, 2002), Salon of Painting - Birmingham (2001, 2002), Balkan Quadrennial of Painting - Stara Zagora (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016), "August in Art" - Varna (2002, 2004, 2006) and others. Tsanko Tsankov is the winner of an award from the Balkan Quadrennial of Painting in Stara Zagora in 2008 and an award for overall creative work of Graffit Gallery in 2019. His works are owned by the City Art Galleries in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Kyustendil, Georg Gallery. - Suld, Westerland, Germany, Waitimore Gallery - London, Miro Gallery - Prague, Art Museum - Schardjach, UAE, as well as collectors from Bulgaria, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, Greece , India, Syria, Argentina, Mexico, USA, Japan. He lives and works in Varna.
