Valentina Cherneva- Cherry was born in 1970 in Razgrad, Bulgaria. In 1989 she graduated from the National High School of Applied Arts "Professor Venko Kolev" in Troyan with a degree in ceramics. She has had several solo exhibitions such as Gallery "Premier Enterprises" - Varna (1991, 1995), Gallery 111 - Varna (2001), Complex "Yanitsa" - Krapets (2002), Gallery "Teddy" - Varna (2011) and others. She has also appeared in many group exhibitions and projects, some of which: "Light" - Gallery President, Mangalia, Romania (2009), Art Festival "Without Borders" - Balchik, Bulgaria (2011), Fourth Balkan Quadrennial of Painting "Myths and Legends" - Stara Zagora, Bulgaria (2016). She has illustrated 5 books. Member of the Association of Varna Artists. She lives and works in Varna.
