Vasil Angelov

Vasil Angelov was born on July 11, 1987 in Sofia. In 2006 he graduated from the National Professional High School of Polygraphy and Photography, majoring in Polygraphy, and in 2012 graduated with a master's degree from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, majoring in Graphics. He has two solo exhibitions and more than 30 participation in national and international group exhibitions and competitions - Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey, Austria, Japan, Russia, China, Romania. Vasil has won many prestigious awards - First Prize in the Symbols and Signs Competition in Bulgarian Folklore, organized by the National Academy of Fine Arts (2008), Award in the Po Picasso Competition, organized by the National Academy of Fine Arts (2009), one of three equal prizes The Sixth International Triennial of Graphics, Sofia (2010), Nomination for Graphics in National Competition Allianz Bulgaria (2012), First Prize in International ExLibris Competition Varna (2014), Young Artist Award from Georgi Gerasimov National Graphic Exhibition, Pazardzhik (2015) ). He lives and works in Sofia.
