Yana Lubenova

Yana Lubenova was born in 1989 in Targovishte, Bulgaria. In 2012 she graduated from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" with a degree in "Spatial Design". She has had numerous participations in competitions, some of which are: exhibition of the fifth edition of the International Biennial "Art of Miniature" in Ruse (2015), National exhibition "Ludogorie, Razgrad (2017), an exhibition of selected artists in the National Competition Allianz Bulgaria for painting, sculpture and graphics at the City Art Gallery-Varna in 2016, as well as at the Art Gallery in Dobrich in 2018. Participant in the traditional Annual exhibition for painting FORMAT 30/30 of Astry Gallery in Sofia in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Her works are part of a group exhibition "9 years Largo Art Gallery", which celebrated the 9th birthday of the gallery in 2017. In 2017 she had her first solo exhibition "Preserved Memories" at the Hebros Hotel, Plovdiv. She is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 2018. Yana worked as a gallerist at Largo Art Gallery, Varna from 2013 to 2019. She lives and works in Varna.
