We are happy to invite you to the opening of an exhibition of paintings by the Plovdiv artist Nikolay Nyagolov in Largo Gallery. This is the artist's sixth solo appearance in the Varna gallery and is called "Nature vive". Nikolay, inextricably linked to the sea, will once again present us his love letters to the deep blue, depicted with color and brush on the canvases.

The title "Nature vive" is a word game on the term "still life"or "nature mort" and literally means "living nature", which perfectly reflects the essence of Nyagolov's works. Twenty paintings specially created for the exhibition in "Largo" will reveal to us the lively and pulsating compositions, with a wealth of shades of blue, red, orange and violet. In them we will also find the favorite motifs in the author's plots: the fig tree and the red apple, the sleeping boat, the fishing huts and the seaside towns.

In the exhibition, we will also see a new direction in Nyagolov's work - paintings that interweave the poetics of winter with the contrast of summer themes. In works such as "Winter by the river" and "Winter apple", the artist winks at the coolness, quiet beauty of the winter season and its melancholy. In the current exhibition, Nikolai has included a series of landscapes with megaliths depicted at different times of the day, adding new aspects to his characteristic abstract subjects.

The expressiveness and richness of colors in Nyagolov's works are a real visual pleasure - each picture is imbued with pulsating energy and expressiveness, which transport the viewer into a world of bright emotions. The nightscapes, rendered in deep blues, fiery reds and rich violet tones, enhance the mysticism and magic of the night, creating a sense of mystery. Coastal lighthouses and sleeping boats, their reflections on the sea surface, remain constant, exciting symbols in Nyagolov's work, embodying his relationship with the endless expanse of the sea.

Come and immerse yourself in the colorful universe of Nikolay Nyagolov at Largo Gallery from October 17th to November 5th. The exhibition will be officially opened with the participation of the artist on October 17th at 18:30 in the exhibition hall of the gallery at 8 Han Krum Street, Varna.
