Tsvetan Kazandjiev was born on October 17, 1960 in Yambol, Bulgaria. He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, Graphics Section, since 1989. He has had more than 150 participations in international graphic forums and competitions. He has dozens of solo exhibitions and collective participations in galleries in Bulgaria and abroad - Japan, Poland, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, USA, Germany, Austria, Italy. Winner of numerous awards for his works, including: National Award - Exhibition of Graphics and Small Graphic Forms, Sofia, Bulgaria (1995), Award of the International Exhibition - Competition for Small Format Graphics, Cadaqués, Spain (1996), Second Prize, Medal and Diploma of the International Biennial of Graphics, Ourense, Spain (1998), Special Prize of the International Biennial of Graphics, Seoul, Korea (2002), Second Prize of the International Graphic Competition "MAXIMO RAMOS", Ferrol, Spain (2005), Prize for the schedule of the Biennial of Small Forms, Pleven, Bulgaria and Award for the schedule of the National Biennial of Contemporary Bulgarian Art, Burgas (2006), Award for Painting of the International Biennial "Art of Miniature", Ruse (2015) and others. His graphics are in the possession of the National Gallery Sofia, Bulgaria; Graphic Cabinet, Varna, Bulgaria; Dalarnas Museum, Falun, Sweden; Art Museum, Lodz, Poland; Art Museum, Ferrol, Spain; Art Museum, Ourense, Spain and many private collections in Bulgaria, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, USA, Finland, France, Poland and others. He lives and works in his hometown of Yambol.
